I reviewed 51 papers in 2021 for conferences I was involved with as program committee member:
It takes me no less than one full day of work to do a proper review, which includes preparing a structured report from the notes I take while reading it. I often need more than one day per paper. By that account, in 2021 I spent at least 2 working months solely devoted to paper reviewing. Yet, I cannot afford to ignore other research, teaching or admin duties at the university, so a large part of that reviewing effort takes place at night or during weekends and vacation.
I will reduce my paper reviewing load in 2022.
